Terms of Service

1. Agreement, operator, and eligibility

These Terms form an agreement between you and Meykai, the operator of the service. Questions can be sent to support@meykai.com. The controller and privacy contact are described in the Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement. If you use Meykai for an employer or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation. A “Consumer” is an individual acting mainly outside a trade, business, craft, or profession; a “Business User” is any other user.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use gated Meykai services.

2. What Meykai provides

Free account

A free account gives access to the first three released chapters in the actual Meykai reader. No payment card is required for those chapters. Other chapters, tools, and case studies remain locked unless your account has an active trial, membership, beta grant, or administrator entitlement.

Core membership

Core provides access to the released curriculum, tools, case studies, search, saved progress, and available reader features while the relevant entitlement remains active. “Released” means the content and features available in the service at that time; it does not include every roadmap item or future role.

Self-paced educational service

Meykai is a self-paced educational and working-reference product. It is not a cohort, university qualification, accredited certification, job-placement service, consulting engagement, or promise of a particular career, salary, promotion, product result, investment result, or business outcome.

More roles, domains, chapters, tools, and case studies may be added over time, but roadmap statements are informational and do not create a contractual delivery date unless a separate written offer expressly says otherwise.

3. Accounts, security, and acceptable use

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law. One account is for one natural person unless a separate team or enterprise agreement says otherwise.

You must not:

  • share, sell, rent, or transfer account access or allow simultaneous use intended to avoid paying for additional access;
  • circumvent paywalls, trials, entitlements, rate limits, authentication, or other technical controls;
  • scrape, crawl, bulk-download, mirror, train a model on, republish, sell, or create a competing corpus from Meykai content except where mandatory law expressly permits;
  • probe, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, introduce malware, or attempt unauthorised access to the service, accounts, or provider systems;
  • use feedback, support, or other inputs for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, confidential, or payment-sensitive material; or
  • misrepresent Meykai content as professional advice, certification, or an endorsement by a cited source.

Reasonable accessibility tools, browser features, personal note-taking, and security research carried out under applicable law and responsible-disclosure principles are not prohibited merely because they interact with technical controls.

4. Trials, prices, payments, renewals, and cancellation

Current plans

Core is currently offered at $15 per month with a 3-day trial, or $99 per year with a 7-day trial. The price, currency, trial, renewal interval, and any taxes or provider charges shown on the final checkout screen control if they differ from marketing copy because of location, currency conversion, or an updated offer.

Contract formation and Razorpay

You select a plan before checkout. Razorpay collects payment authorisation and provides the hosted payment flow. A paid subscription is activated only after the provider confirms the subscription state to Meykai. Razorpay's buyer terms and privacy notice may apply separately to payment processing.

Automatic renewal

Unless you cancel before the applicable provider charge time, your selected plan automatically renews at the end of the trial and each monthly or annual billing period. The payment method authorised with Razorpay is charged the price disclosed for the renewal, plus applicable taxes. If a price changes, Meykai will provide advance notice required by law and the change will apply no earlier than the next permitted renewal.

Cancellation

You can request cancellation from Settings → Billing or contact support@meykai.com. Cancellation stops future renewal after the provider confirms it. Unless law requires otherwise, access continues until the end of the active trial or paid period. Deleting the app, leaving the website, or not using the service does not by itself cancel a subscription.

Failed payments, chargebacks, and taxes

We may suspend paid access after a failed, reversed, fraudulent, or disputed payment while the issue is investigated. You are responsible for taxes that the checkout states are payable by you. Do not initiate a chargeback for a correct charge without first giving support a reasonable opportunity to investigate; this does not restrict a legal right to dispute an unauthorised payment.

Commercial refund policy

After a valid charge, voluntary refunds are not ordinarily offered for unused time or a change of mind. This rule does not limit statutory withdrawal rights, remedies for failure to supply or lack of conformity, refunds for duplicate or unauthorised charges, or another mandatory right.

5. EU/EEA and UK consumer rights

14-day withdrawal right

If you are an eligible consumer entering a distance contract, you may have 14 days from contract conclusion to withdraw without giving a reason. To exercise that right, send a clear statement with the account email and selected plan to support@meykai.com. You may use the model wording: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for Meykai Core, ordered on [date], for account [email].”

If you expressly request that an ongoing digital service begin during the withdrawal period, applicable law may permit a proportionate charge for service supplied before withdrawal. Where the law requires express consent and acknowledgement before a withdrawal right can be lost for immediately supplied digital content, it is lost only when those statutory conditions have been satisfied. A trial cancellation and a statutory withdrawal are separate rights.

Conformity and supply of digital services

Meykai will supply the digital service without undue delay after the relevant entitlement is confirmed and will provide updates, including security updates, required to keep the service in conformity during the supply period. If the service is not supplied or is not in conformity, eligible consumers may be entitled to have it brought into conformity free of charge and within a reasonable time, receive a proportionate price reduction, or terminate and receive a refund in the circumstances provided by applicable law.

Material modifications

We may update content and features for security, legal compliance, accuracy, accessibility, or product improvement. Where an ongoing paid digital service is modified beyond what is necessary to maintain conformity and the modification negatively affects an EU consumer's access or use more than minimally, we will provide the notice and termination option required by applicable law.

These rights apply in addition to any stronger protection under the law of your country of residence.

6. Educational content, tools, feedback, and intellectual property

Educational limitation

Meykai material is general education and product-management guidance. It is not legal, medical, financial, tax, cybersecurity, employment, regulatory, or other licensed professional advice. AI technologies, laws, prices, and provider capabilities change quickly. Check primary sources and obtain qualified advice before a high-impact decision.

Our rights and your licence

Meykai and its licensors retain all rights in the service, curriculum, writing, design, software, trademarks, and compilations. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access released material for your own learning and internal work while your qualifying access is active.

You may download, complete, copy, and adapt a toolkit file specifically made available for download for your own or your employer's internal work. You may not sell the file, publish it as a competing template, distribute the underlying Meykai chapter or corpus, or remove ownership notices. Rights in facts, third-party material, and quotations remain with their respective owners.

Your feedback and communications

You keep ownership of original feedback text you submit. You grant Meykai a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, analyse, and use that feedback to operate, secure, and improve the service. This licence does not permit public attribution of a private message or use as a testimonial without separate permission. You confirm that you have the right to submit the material and that it does not contain another person's confidential information.

Copyright concerns

Send a sufficiently detailed infringement notice to support@meykai.com, identifying the protected work, the material at issue, its location, your contact information, and the basis for your claim. We may remove or restrict disputed material while reviewing a good-faith notice.

7. Availability, maintenance, beta features, and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider incidents, security events, internet failures, or force-majeure events can temporarily interrupt access. We will use reasonable care and skill and will not use this clause to avoid a mandatory duty to supply or remedy a non-conforming digital service.

Beta or experimental features may be incomplete, change substantially, or be withdrawn. They will be identified where reasonably practical. Private beta access can be time-limited or revoked, but revocation does not remove consumer rights attached to a separately paid entitlement.

We may correct errors, update sources, change navigation, add or remove individual pieces of content, and improve the reader. We will not materially reduce an active paid service without the notice or remedy required by applicable law.

8. Warranties, responsibility, and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Meykai is provided on an “as available” basis and implied warranties are excluded only where they can lawfully be excluded. We do not warrant a specific professional outcome or that every educational statement will remain current indefinitely.

You remain responsible for how you apply the material, for validating decisions in your own context, for protecting employer or client information, and for maintaining appropriate backups of work created outside Meykai.

For a Business User, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Meykai is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, or business data. Meykai's aggregate contractual liability to a Business User for claims arising in a 12-month period will not exceed the greater of the fees that user paid during that period or EUR 100.

No limitation applies where prohibited, including for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of a non-excludable data-protection duty, deliberate failure to supply, or a mandatory consumer remedy. Consumer liability is governed by applicable mandatory law.

9. Suspension, termination, governing law, and disputes

Suspension or termination by Meykai

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address account compromise, fraud, payment failure, unlawful use, a serious breach of these Terms, harm to the service or other users, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue. We may terminate for an uncured material breach or where continued supply is unlawful or technically impossible.

Termination by you

You may stop using the service at any time, cancel renewal as described above, and request account deletion at privacy@meykai.com. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are different actions; contact support if both are required. Terms concerning accrued payment, intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, claims, and liability survive where their nature requires.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For Consumers, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of your habitual residence, and you may bring proceedings in any court available under applicable consumer law. Business Users agree to the courts with jurisdiction over Meykai's operating establishment, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

Complaints

Please contact support@meykai.com first so we can investigate. We will acknowledge a consumer complaint and aim to provide a substantive response within a reasonable period. This does not restrict access to a court, regulator, payment dispute right, or mandatory alternative-dispute mechanism.

10. General provisions and changes

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without consent. Meykai may assign the agreement as part of a restructuring, financing, or sale, subject to applicable notice and consumer rights.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the checkout disclosure, and any written offer specific to your plan form the agreement for the service. If they conflict, a negotiated written agreement controls, followed by the checkout disclosure for price and billing, these Terms, and the Privacy Policy for data processing.

We may update these Terms for legal, security, provider, or product changes. Material changes will be notified in advance where required. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using the service and cancel before it takes effect, subject to any mandatory remedy.
